i know i shouldn’t get attached but i did i love him so much my fault i was having some trouble doing his brindle im still not happy with the way it its but nevertheless hes really fun to colour ^_^

anyway about him, im not that good of a writer though

Name: Ryuu ( Dragon Spirit)
Gender: Stallion
Breed: Mustang
Colour: Silver Bay Brindle
Age : 5
Height: 15.5 hh

Personality :

His name’s meaning is dragon spirit which suits his personality exactly. He doesn’t let anyone push him around. Other than that he’s quite quiet and others often see him as a little hidden until they get to know him. He’s a strong leader although he can be curious at times.


History :

As a foal he was quite energetic and agile. You wouldn’t guess this playful little foal became the stallion that he is now. When he was a year old his parents were captured and tamed, from that moment on he vowed never to have the same done to him. As fate would have it when he was two, a man caught him but unlike his parents, Ryuu’s will to be free was so strong the man couldn’t tame him so he then released him back into the wild. So far in his life he has a small herd not because he cant have a large herd but he prefers less company for now anyway.


One day when Ryuu’s herd was relaxing in the summer sun, a strange feeling came over him. He raced over to the top of a hill and looked out over the land. What he saw sent a weird cold chill down his spine. In the distance he could see smoke the air. It had a very strange scent in it. Being young he wasn’t quite sure what the scent was. He felt like he had smelt something like is before though. Then something caught his eye. Another herd was running frantically in the distance. By now his own herd sensed something wasn’t right. Ryuu told them to stay quiet and stay hidden. He headed in the direction of the other herd. As he got closer he notice there was no stallion for this herd, as well there seemed to be no young either. Leading the herd was a young mare named Nina. She saw Ryuu and slowed her herd down. Ryuu looked over the herd and thought this was no time for questions . Nina asked his name “My name is Ryuu, please come with me. I will take you some were safe” he replied. Nina and her herd didn’t hesitate to follow him. Ryuu lead them back to his herd. They were wary of the strange herd at fist. Once Ryuu assured them things were safe they too realized the state the other herd was in. As the herds slept Ryuu stood watch. His mind wouldn’t stop racing with questions. What was the smoke from? Why was this herd so frightened? Where was the stallion and any younger members? Ryuu didn’t notice that he wasn’t the only one awake that night, Nina the young mare was up as well. She wanted to tell him everything but her legs wouldn’t move and she wasn’t sure if she could talk. Ryuu looked on into the night still wondering what had happened and if it would come a time when his herd would face this same fate.
